The thoughts and sympathies of the committee go out to the CPS members who have been affected by the earthquake.
From Prestige Philately: All of us at Prestige were shocked to learn of the devastation caused by Tuesday's earthquake in Christchurch. We expect that everyone in New Zealand will know somebody who has died or been seriously injured. We know that many Australians will be concerned for friends and family. So many of us have visited your beautiful country and, like me, enjoyed walking along the river, around the botanic gardens, and other usually tranquil spots in Christchurch. To all of you who have suffered loss, or who remain concerned for people from whom there is still no word, we offer you our condolences and encouragement. We Kiwis and Aussies share a long and strong history of pulling together in times of strife and this occasion will be no different. We applaud our government for sending search and rescue teams at such short notice. We are confident that in the Christchurch mayor there is a man of rare talent, vision and compassion who will admirably lead the reconstruction operations.
God bless you all.
